White fitted ringer baby tee with navy ribbed trim on the collar and sleeve cuffs. The chest print shows a scowling kangaroo in a black leather jacket with studs, red top and lace up boots, pointing sideways with a boomerang in hand, in front of an Australian flag. BAD KANGAROO is repeated in navy italic type all around him in different sizes. The back is plain. Cropped, close cut body with a woven Australian Dreams label.
Tourist shops across Australia sold cartoon animals as souvenirs, and the punk kangaroo with studs and boots was a joke aimed at the postcard version of the country. Australian Dreams was one of the labels printing for that market, with the label boasting Made in Australia and 100% cotton. Fitted ringer baby tees were the shape of the early 2000s, which makes this a good mix of souvenir kitsch and Y2K cut.
