A black tee with a yellow circular front print, GOGOL BORDELLO arched over the top and GYPSY PUNK REVOLUTION curving along the bottom, enclosing a figure with crossed violin bows and petal shapes picked out in blue and green. The back carries GOGOL BORDELLO in yellow display lettering with FORCES OF VICTORY TOUR 2008 beneath, flanked by two small figures.
Gogol Bordello formed in New York in 1999 around Eugene Hutz, who arrived as a refugee from Ukraine. Gypsy punk fused Romani folk instrumentation with hardcore tempo and became one of the few genuinely new things to come out of the early 2000s New York scene. Forces of Victory was among their heaviest touring runs.
