A black Autopsy – The Headless Ritual / “Annihilation of an Autopsy” tee, featuring the California death-metal band’s signature unreadable logo above a murky, corpse-like illustration in faded grey, blue and toxic green.
Formed in San Francisco, California in 1987 by former Death drummer Chris Reifert and guitarist Eric Cutler, Autopsy became one of the defining names in early American death metal. Their sound was slower, nastier and more doom-heavy than many of their peers—full of horror-film atmosphere, grotesque imagery and deliberately filthy production.
The artwork references “Annihilation of an Autopsy,” a track from the band’s 2013 album The Headless Ritual. It is a proper later-era Autopsy piece, but still carries the same rotten, underground visual language the band built its cult around. The heavily faded print makes it feel even closer to an old death-metal relic
